If reports are to be believed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is quite keen on going the family way by next year.

Mumbai Mirror reports that the Bachchan bahu is working hard to wrap up several of her films by this year.

It seems the younger Bachchan couple is being hounded by the imminent question. While Abhishek Bachchan
gets 'visibly annoyed' every time a bunch of exuberant ladies walk up to them, Aishwarya it seems already has a plan.

"She wants to complete as many (film) assignments as she can before she becomes a mother.
Because once she gets into that role she wouldn't want any other distractions," the paper quoted a source as having said.

Aishwarya Rai is currently busy trying to finish all her films including Vipul Shah's Action Replay,
Shankar's Robot and Mani Ratnam's Raavana. Add to the list Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish,
for which she starts shooting in Goa and Abhinay Deo's Crooked.

"The two (Abhi and Ash) are fed up of relatives, strangers and relative strangers asking them when the story is visitng.
Secretly, the feel pressurised. It's as if their parenthood is a public issue... Abhishek gers visibly annoyed.
(But) Aishwarya handles such over-inquisitive attention far more graciously," the source told the paper.

Kareena Kapoor, Sreesanth voted Sexiest !

Thousands of voters have spoken, and Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor and cricket star Sreesanth have been crowned the winners of PETA India's annual Sexiest Vegetarians Alive poll.

The online contest was conducted by petaDishoom, PETA India's youth arm. Kapoor and Sreesanth narrowly edged out 2007 winner R Madhavan, model and Doctor Aditi Gowitrikar, Pentagram vocalist Vishal Dadlani, film star and Kailasa singer Kailash Kher and many others.



Four-time Filmfare award-winner Kareena Kapoor, who has appeared in more than 31 movies, captured the female title for the second year in a row. Exuberant young fast-pace bowler Sreesanth beat out fellow vegetarian cricket stars Ishant Sharma and Anil Kumble to earn the nod for sexiest male.

Other top contenders include Olympic Bronze Medallist Sushil Kumar; actors Alicia Silverstone, Pamela Anderson, Hansika Motwani, Mallika Sherawat, Mahima Chaudhary and Rajneesh Duggal; musicians Sir Paul McCartney and Moby; and designers Anita Dongre and Hemant Trevedi.

''When you look at the dozens of gorgeous celebrities in this year's poll, there are no bones about it - a vegetarian diet makes you beautiful inside and out'', says PETA India's Anuradha Sawhney. ''After all, going vegetarian is the best thing you can do for the animals, the Earth and your health. Plus, everyone knows that there is nothing sexier than someone who exudes both passion and compassion.''

Celina Jaitley upset with her co-star’s publicity stunts

Celina Jaitley has always been known as a bold, outspoken and daring Bollywood actress who does not hesitate to stand up against anything wrong. So, when her co-star Abhimanyu Singh decided to bag in some publicity at her cost, it was quite expected that the actress flew into a rage and decided to retort back.

Abhimanyu is a newcomer who is acting opposite Celina in a thriller directed by Jagmohan Mundhra and has been giving his excuses and take on his alleged linkup with the actress. He went ahead to give an interview about how upset he was to read about his link-up with Celina.

Celina, on the other hand, feels that the question and topic of this linkup is nothing but the brainchild of Abhimanyu himself who is doing this to get some cheap publicity. An angry Celina said, “”What link-up is he talking about? Who linked him with me except himself? This is the first time I’ve heard about this so-called link-up.”

She adds, “This is a perennial problem. You are nice to a co-star and he decides to repay your kindness by planting cheap stories. Recently, it happened to me when a co-star, who’s a dear friend, whom I don’t want to name, gave out a story about how he ‘manhandled’ me on the sets. I didn’t react because all said and done, he’s a dear friend and a name in his own right. But Abhimanyu is a talented actor and I was just being nice to him as a co-star.”

Celina can barely control her anger and expresses her disappointment saying, “Next time I’ll think twice before being nice to a co-star. But it’s sad to see actors, established or not-so-established using their co-star’s name for publicity. They take advantage of my single status and friendly nature. But do they realize how such sleazy whispers could jeopardize my prospects of finding love?”

She also sent an SMS to Abhimanyu Singh which read, “Abhimanyu, u better stop talking about this so called link up. In the first place there’s no link up, so stop going to the media and crying about things which don’t exist.”

Amrita Rao takes a ‘Shortkut’ to success

‘Shortkut’ may be termed as the re-incarnation for Amrita Rao into a glamorous and sizzling avatar from a petite, girl-next-door image. The gossip columns and journals are abuzz with the sensuality she oozes in the promos of the film. Amrita, by far had kept away from skin-show but finally she has realized that if she aspires of success in the glamour world, she has to take the ‘Shortcut’ of being bold and sexy. Amrita Rao plays the role of Mansi, Shekhar’s love interest who later becomes his wife and what follows is confusion, clash of egos and humorous sequences when Shekhar gets to direct Chandu, the superstar.
